The USI 8-Pocket Bag Filter is a high-efficiency prefilter and exhaust filter for USI Master spray booths. Built from dual-ply polyester media with a galvanized steel header, its uniquely formed 8-pocket design maximizes paint-holding capacity while maintaining consistent airflow. Sold in sets of 4.

Pocket filters load from the back of the pocket forward, which is why an 8-pocket design outlasts a flat panel or a 5-pocket bag of the same face dimensions — there is simply more media in the airstream before the surface blinds over. In a busy collision shop running several cycles a day, that difference shows up as fewer changeouts and less downtime with the booth offline.

Key Features

  • Dual-ply polyester media: progressive capture for high efficiency and dust-holding capacity.
  • 8-pocket design: expanded surface area maximizes paint collection and airflow.
  • Galvanized steel header: rigid, secure, easy-to-install frame that resists corrosion in humid exhaust air.
  • Dimensions: 23.5 x 46 x 8 inches.
  • Pack quantity: 4 filters per box.

Best For

  • Prefilter and exhaust overspray capture in USI spray booths
  • Automotive refinishing and collision center finishing
  • High-volume production paint operations

Compatibility

  • USI Master 7 Meter
  • USI Master 8 Meter
  • Also fits USI and USI Italia Master and Chronotech booths

Usage & Care

Watch static pressure rather than the calendar. As the pockets load, the booth fan has to pull harder to move the same volume of air, and a booth that cannot hold its designed airflow starts drawing unfiltered air through door gaps and seams — which is where nibs in the finish come from. Replace when your gauge shows a sustained rise over baseline, or on a set schedule if you do not monitor pressure.

Change all four at once. Mixing a fresh bag with three loaded ones sends most of the airflow through the new filter, which then blinds over early and puts you back where you started.
