DeVilbiss Ceiling Filter Blanket – F5 Tackified Polyester – Fits Legacy & Concept Cure Booths - 39" x 39" is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Keep your legacy DeVilbiss spray booth running with this F5-grade tackified polyester ceiling filter, cut to fit the standard ceiling-bank sizes of DeVilbiss crossflow booths and the iconic 1983-and-later Concept Cure insulated downdraft. DeVilbiss has not manufactured spray booths under its own brand since the late 1990s, when the booth division was sold to Blowtherm USA in 1998 and rebranded as Team Blowtherm, so OEM ceiling filters are no longer in production. We stock aftermarket blankets specifically because the OEM no longer does.
Sizing note: DeVilbiss booth dimensions vary depending on era of manufacture (US-built crossflow, Concept Cure Canadian downdraft, or Team Blowtherm-era). Measure your existing ceiling filter grid before ordering.
Key Features
- Captures 90%+ of particles over 10 microns, keeping overspray out of your exhaust stage and off the finish.
- 600 g/m² media at 20mm thickness for high dust-holding capacity and long service life.
- Progressive, gradient construction increases fiber density toward the clean-air side and traps fine particles deeper in the media.
- Impregnated tackifier throughout bonds paint particles to the media instead of releasing them downstream.
- Heat-sealed 9-gauge support frame holds shape under load and resists sagging at peak airflow.
- Rated for 0.25 m/s face velocity, matched to booth ceiling-plenum airflow.
- Cut to standard DeVilbiss ceiling-bank sizes for a drop-in fit, with custom sizes available for non-standard banks.
Best For
- Automotive collision and refinish on legacy DeVilbiss installations
- Concept Cure paint-and-bake operations
- Industrial coating and OEM production-line painting
- Any operating DeVilbiss booth that needs F5 or EU5-grade ceiling intake filtration
Usage & Care
Replace ceiling filters every 3 to 6 months depending on production volume and paint type. Concept Cure downdraft booths and legacy crossflow units have older airflow systems that are less forgiving of restricted filtration, so change at the quarterly mark for high-volume shops and inspect monthly for visible loading. If your booth's pressure-differential gauge drifts outside its original spec, replace the ceiling blanket immediately.

Every ceiling blanket we cut uses the same F5-grade tackified polyester media, so the fire-safety and compliance ratings below apply across all sizes and booth brands.
Fire Safety Ratings
- UL 900 Class 1 listed filter media
- DIN 53438-F1 fire-safety rated
- Meets NFPA 33 requirements for spray booth filtration
What These Ratings Mean
UL 900 Class 1 and DIN 53438-F1 are fire-safety classifications for filter media, and NFPA 33 is the National Fire Protection Association standard covering spray application using flammable and combustible materials. These ratings describe the filter media itself.
