RTi BRAD-BD1 Breathing Air System – Grade D, CO Monitor, 1-2 Painters

Supplied breathing air for one or two painters, with a CO monitor that alarms at 10 ppm.

The BRAD-BD1 is an ultra-lightweight breathing air filtration system for 1-2 operators that monitors Grade "D" breathable air. A deep-bed activated carbon pre-filter removes hydrocarbons, a 0.01 micron final filter removes fine particulate and oil, and the BRAD-CM3 carbon monoxide monitor alarms at 10 ppm. It comes mounted on a ¾" board for easy installation. Pair it with an RTi operator kit (mask, non-gassing hose and flow control valve), sold separately.

Usage & Care

BRAD-CM3 CO monitor: preset at 10 ppm CO alarm, bar graph display, calibration magnet, 115 V plug connection, low pressure alarm (can be bypassed), and a 10-second RF signal delay to eliminate false alarms. Calibrate as required per the manual.

FAQ

Which elements does it use, and how often should I change them?
The 1st stage uses the 4P-060 activated carbon element, changed every 3 months. The 2nd stage uses the 3C-061 0.01 micron element, changed every 6 months. The BRAD-01C-MK 1-year kit contains (4) 4P-060 and (2) 3C-061.

How many painters and how much air does it support?
It is designed for 1-2 operators and rated for up to 60 SCFM, with dual ½" outlets fitted with ¼" high flow quick disconnects.

What does the CO monitor do?
The BRAD-CM3 monitor samples the supplied air for carbon monoxide and alarms at a preset 10 ppm. It has a bar graph display, a low pressure alarm (can be bypassed), and radio frequency cancellation: if it senses an RF signal, it will not alarm unless the signal lasts 10 seconds or longer.

Are masks and hoses included?
No. Pair it with an RTi operator kit (mask, non-gassing hose and flow control valve), sold separately.
