Usage & Care

Booth makers that publish a figure put ceiling filters at about 1,000 to 1,200 operating hours. The media is rated to a 450 Pa (1.81 in. w.g.) final pressure drop. Older Spraybake booths often have manometer or pressure-differential gauges from the original installation, so change filters when readings drift outside the booth's original spec, or at about 1,000 to 1,200 operating hours. Monitor closely, since aged booth airflow systems are less forgiving of restricted filters than modern direct-fire downdrafts.
