Binks Paint Booth Filters

Binks has been a recognized name in spray finishing for decades, with paint booths installed in automotive and industrial shops across North America. Like any spray booth, Binks booths depend on clean, well-maintained filters to perform consistently — dirty or clogged filters lead to contamination in the finish, restricted airflow, and added wear on the booth's fan and motor.

What Binks Paint Booth Filters Do

A Binks downdraft booth moves air from the ceiling down through the work area and out through the floor exhaust. Filters sit at both ends of that airflow path — intake filters clean the air coming in, exhaust filters capture overspray going out. Keeping both in good condition is what separates a booth that produces clean, consistent finishes from one that keeps causing problems.

Neglected intake filters let dust and airborne particles settle into wet paint. Worn door seals let unfiltered shop air pull in from ground level, where dust concentration is highest. Either one shows up in the finished job.

Filters We Carry for Binks Booths

Ceiling intake blankets

Polyester blanket filters sized for Binks booth ceiling plenums. Available in standard Binks dimensions, with a custom-cut option for booths that use non-standard openings. To order the right size, measure the filter opening in your ceiling plenum — width and length in inches.

Replace at least once a year. High-volume shops should inspect monthly and change sooner if airflow feels restricted or the material looks visibly loaded.

Custom-cut ceiling blanket

If your Binks booth ceiling opening does not match a standard size, the custom-cut option covers it. Enter your exact dimensions at checkout. Same polyester blanket material — cut to your specifications.

Neoprene door sweep

A 1/4"-thick neoprene strip that seals the gap at the base of booth doors, available in 4" and 8" widths in 10-foot lengths. A failed door sweep is one of the most overlooked sources of booth contamination — the floor-level gap pulls in dust from the shop every time the booth runs.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Binks booth is an older model — will standard filter sizes still work?

Binks produced booths across many years and configurations, so sizing is not always consistent between models. Always measure your actual filter opening rather than assuming the size matches a previous order. If nothing in the standard range fits, the custom-cut option handles non-standard dimensions.

Do you carry Binks exhaust filters?

Not in this collection at the moment. If you need exhaust filters for your Binks booth, contact us with your model and exhaust pit dimensions and we will advise on available options.

How do I know what size door sweep I need?

Measure the width of the gap at the bottom of your booth door. The sweep comes in 4" and 8" widths — pick the one that covers your gap with a small overlap. One 10-foot length is usually enough for a standard single door; measure the full door width before ordering.

Not sure which filter fits your booth?

Use our Find My Filter tool to match your booth, or send us a photo of your booth tag or current filter and a technician will identify the exact filter and size for you. Need a non-standard size? We custom-cut filters to your exact dimensions.
