Not every booth takes a standard filter size — and you shouldn't have to force-fit one. We custom-cut paint booth ceiling and intake filters to your exact dimensions, so any booth, any size, gets a clean drop-in fit. It's the same F5 tackified polyester media we use in our brand-specific blankets, cut to order and shipped fast.
How Custom-Cut Ordering Works
- Measure your filter opening — width × length, in inches. Measure the actual ceiling plenum or filter grid, not the old filter if it has shrunk or stretched. Not sure how? See our guide on how to measure for the right paint booth filter size.
- Enter your size on the Custom-Cut Ceiling Filter Blanket product page, or send us a photo of your booth tag and we'll confirm the size.
- We cut and ship — your made-to-order blanket ships from our warehouse, fast.
Which Booths Need a Custom-Cut Filter?
- Non-standard or owner-modified booths that don't match a catalog size
- Legacy booths where the original size is no longer offered — Spraybake, Binks, DeVilbiss, and older imports
- Industrial enclosures for aerospace, marine, or production-line finishing
- Specialty setups — woodworking and furniture booths, sign and custom paint shops
Not sure whether your booth actually needs custom-cut, or if a stock size would work? Our comparison of custom-cut vs. pre-sized ceiling blankets walks through the cost trade-offs.
Why F5 Tackified Polyester
- M5 under EN 779:2012 (the class formerly called F5), 96% average arrestance in testing
- 600 g/m² weight, 22 mm (±3) thick, 820 g/m² dust holding capacity in testing
- Multi-layer construction with tackifier through the full depth, so captured particles stay in the media
- DIN 53438-F1 and UL 900 Class 2 flame rating (manufacturer's classification)
